R.V. Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. was founded in Hyderabad in 2000 by Sri R.V. Ramana, arranging temple yatras for a handful of families in Telangana. 26 years on it runs 12 branches across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, and guided journeys the length and breadth of India and around the world — from the Himalayan char dhams to Europe, South-East Asia and beyond.
How a journey is run has not changed. Hotels are chosen, not merely accepted. Every itinerary is costed before it is offered. A tour manager travels with the group from the first morning to the last drop — which is how a first-time flyer, a college group and a couple in their seventies can ride the same coach and each feel the trip was planned around them. And for those who would rather travel among their own, ladies’ groups, students, senior citizens and newlyweds have departures of their own.
Through all of it, two principles still decide every booking: value for money, and the satisfaction of the traveller.
