This Privacy Policy explains how R.V. Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. collects, uses, stores and protects the personal information you share with us on rvtoursandtravels.com, in our mobile app, at our branches and over the phone. By using our website or booking with us you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry or make a booking we collect what you type into the form: name, phone number, email address, city and address, travel details (package, dates, number of travellers, boarding point) and, for bookings, traveller names, ages, gender, Aadhaar or passport numbers as required for travel arrangements, emergency contact, medical declarations you choose to make, and optional GST billing details. Our web server also keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed).
How we use it
Only to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, arrange and manage your travel (tickets, permits, hotels, transport), send booking confirmations and reminders, contact you about your booking, meet legal and accounting obligations, and improve our services. We do not sell or rent your information and we do not run advertising on this website.
Payments
Online payments are processed by Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. on its secure, PCI-DSS compliant checkout. Card, UPI and net-banking details are entered on Razorpay's page and never reach our website or servers; we receive and store only the payment reference, amount and status against your booking. Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to the data you enter there.
Sharing with third parties
We share personal details only where a booking requires it — with airlines, hotels, transport operators, permit and visa authorities, our payment partner and our own reservations staff — and where the law requires it. Third parties receive only what is needed to provide the service you booked.
Cookies and analytics
The website does not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. It uses only technical storage needed for the site and the mobile app to work (for example remembering that a pop-up was closed, or storing pages so the app opens faster and works offline). Page-view counts we keep are anonymous.
Security
Personal information is stored in a password-protected booking system on our web host, accessible only to staff who need it, over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Staff logins use two-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Retention
Enquiry and booking records are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements (normally eight years for booking and payment records), after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You may ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information you have given us, or to stop contacting you, by writing to info@rvtoursandtravels.com or calling +91 70326 66921. We act on verified requests promptly, subject to records we must keep by law.
Children
Our services are booked by adults. We collect details of children only as travellers on a booking made by their parent or guardian.
