When a refund is due
A refund is due when we cancel or shorten a departure and you choose money back instead of another date; when you cancel more than 25 days before departure and had paid more than the 50% advance (the amount above the advance is refunded); when a payment is received twice for the same booking; or when an online payment fails after money is debited and the bank does not reverse it automatically.
How refunds are paid
Online payments are refunded to the same card, UPI ID or bank account that was used to pay, through our payment partner Razorpay. Cash and cheque payments are refunded by bank transfer to the account you give us in writing.
Refund timeline
Once a refund is approved we initiate it within 3 working days. The amount normally reaches your account within 5–7 working days after that, depending on your bank or card issuer; some banks take up to 10 working days. You will receive the Razorpay refund reference by email or SMS.
Failed or double payments
If money was debited but the booking still shows as unpaid, do not pay again — the bank normally reverses a failed transaction within 5–7 working days. Send us the payment reference and date at info@rvtoursandtravels.com and we will match it to your booking or refund it.
Deductions
Refunds are calculated on the amount actually received by us. Non-recoverable bank and payment gateway charges, and taxes already paid to the government (GST/TCS) that cannot be reclaimed, are deducted. Cancellation charges as per our Cancellation Policy apply before any refund is calculated.
